PitchDrop ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform at pitchdrop.ai.
Information We Collect
Account Information
Name, email address, and authentication credentials collected when you create an account. Authentication and data storage are provided by third-party service providers under contract.
Content You Provide
Pitch deck content, images, documents, brand assets, and any text you input. This content is stored securely and only accessible to you and authorized members of your organization.
Website Data
When you provide a website URL, we may scrape publicly available information to assist in content generation. This data is processed temporarily and stored only as part of your deck content.
Usage Data
Device information, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps collected automatically.
Billing Information
If you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not collect or store your full payment card number, CVC, or expiration date — Stripe holds those directly. We retain only a Stripe customer reference, the subscription identifier, the subscription status, and the current period end date so we can grant or revoke access. Stripe may collect additional information (billing address, IP, device fingerprint) under their own privacy policy.

AI Processing
We use third-party AI service providers to generate and edit deck content. Content you provide is transmitted securely to these providers solely for processing your requests. Our AI providers are contractually prohibited from using your content to train their models. A current list of named sub-processors is available on request from hello@pitchdrop.ai.
Data Sharing
Service Providers

Shared Links
When you create a share link, anyone with that link (and password, if set) can view the deck content.

We do not sell your personal information.
HIPAA Compliance
Important Notice for Healthcare Entities
PitchDrop is designed as a presentation tool. It is not intended to store, process, or transmit Protected Health Information (PHI). Do not upload PHI without a BAA in place.

Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon deletion, data is permanently removed within 30 days. Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days.
Billing records (subscription identifiers, charge history, invoice metadata) are retained for at least seven years after the last related transaction to comply with tax, accounting, and audit requirements. Card data is held by Stripe and governed by Stripe's retention practices, not ours.
